Christmas Break

I was able to spend lots of time with my friends and family over break. At Laguna Beach, my

friends and I had a picnic. We were worried about it being too cold, but it ended up being really nice.

I was also able to try crawfish for the first time at the Kickin Crab. It tasted great, but only a tiny part of it is edible (so paying per pound feels like a rip off!)

I went to Hawaii with my family for the last week of break. We stayed in Kauai for a few days then went to Big Island. There were chickens and feral cats EVERYWHERE, and we saw the state bird (Nene goose) a few times. We mostly hiked and went to the beach.

One of my favorite things in Hawaii was seeing plants in the wild that are common houseplants here. We saw lots of monstera, pothos, and alocasia just off the side of the road. It was a neat experience.
